The NursesChoic LED light therapy face mask is the first of its kind SAA approved mask in Australia that delivers all three clinically approved wavelengths of light at the highest proven output to achieve clinical results in the comfort of your own home.
SAA Approval is accredited by the joint Accreditation Serivce of Australia and New Zealand (HAS-ANZ) as a third party certification body to issue certificates of approval for electrical equipment that has proven to comply with the safety requirements of the applicable standard.
The NursesChoice mask has been designed with optimal convenience. One of the many benefits of our led mask is that it is completely portable, travel friendly and easy to continue with your daily task while in use.
Please refer to the product manual that is included with your NursesChoice LED Face Mask for complete instructions for use, warnings, precautions, and contraindications. Please see online version here.
More colours does not mean a better mask.
Our 3 wavelength mask uses a medical-grade chip, while the seven-colour mask uses a RGB chip.
First of all, the medical grade chip requires that the wavelength of the chip should not exceed plus or minus 5 nanometers to achieve the therapeutic effect of specific bands. This is why the NursesChoice has separate chips for each light. While the seven colour masks use the same LED for all colours, meaning the chip does not exactly emit the correct wavelength needed for all therapeutic outcomes.
The effectiveness of the light on the skin depends first on the wavelength and secondly on the energy of the power of the light. Although it may seem like it can use multiple wavelengths simultaneously, in reality, each wavelengths chip receives very little energy, resulting in much poorer results compared to four-chip setup.
Before each use clean both sides of the mask with a water-based wipe or damp clean cloth.
Although we do not advise to soak in water, our facemask is water-resistant
Near-infrared light is not visible on the light spectrum therefore it is not a colour that can be seen with the naked eye. Not only so it can be physically seen, but also because published studies have shown that when red and near-infrared lights are used together more significant outcomes are achieved
The wavelengths used in the NursesChoice led face mask targets the epidermis layer of the skin, where oil is produced and blemishes or acne may form, reducing the appearance of blemishes or acne spots and creating clearer skin.
There may be a chance that you experience some acne breakouts after the inital treatments as a result of your skin purging process. We strongly encourage you to continue with the treatment time outlines in the product manual.
LED light therapy is generally safe to use during pregnancy and during the period of time you’re breastfeeding. However, because our device hasn’t specifically been tested on women who are pregnant of breastfeeding, we suggest you do not use the product while breastfeeding or pregnant.
